The National Testing Agency organises the National Eligibility Test on behalf of the University Grants Commission. The NTA UGC NET examination is held biannually for 82 subjects. Sindhi is one of the 82 subjects. Two papers are in the UGC NET Sindhi examination - Paper I and Paper II. In June 2019, Paper III was eliminated from the UGC NET Sindhi syllabus. • In the UGC NET Sindhi paper II, 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked in Arabic or Hindi.
• In June 2019, the UGC NET Sindhi cutoff for Junior Research Fellow and Assistant Professor was 60.00%, and for Assistant Professor only, it was 72.67%. 
• In December 2018, the cutoff for Assistant Professor only was 60.67%. The UGC NET Cutoff depends on the number of participants and the difficulty level of the paper.

UGC NET Sindhi Exam Pattern 2025

Candidates must be aware of the UGC NET Sindhi exam pattern for Paper II. Two papers in the UGC NET Sindhi examination-

• Paper I- General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude
• Paper II- Sindhi

The UGC NET Sindhi Paper II will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode. Questions in Paper II will be asked in Arabic or Hindi, depending on the option chosen by the candidates while applying. Only multiple-choice questions will be asked.
