SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2025

Knowing the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2025 is crucial as it provides a clear understanding of the structure of the exam. Below are some overall idea of the SSC MTS Exam 2025. 

• Session I: This session comprises two sections—Numerical and Mathematical Ability, and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving. Each section contains 20 questions, with a total of 40 questions carrying 120 marks. Notably, there is no negative marking in this session.
• Session II: This session includes General Awareness and English Language and Comprehension, each with 25 questions. The session totals 50 questions and 150 marks, with a penalty of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

SSC MTS Paper I Exam Pattern

The updated SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern was released in the SSC MTS Notification 2025 and is presented in the table below.

• The Computer-Based Examination will comprise two sessions, Session-I and Session-II, and it is compulsory for candidates to attempt both sessions. 
• Failure to attempt any session will result in disqualification. 
• In Session 2, there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each incorrect answer, while Session 1 will not have any negative marking.

SSC MTS Syllabus 2025

SSC MTS Syllabus 2025 will be announced by the Staff Selection Commission along with the official recruitment notification. As per the previous years' syllabus, the exam will be conducted in the form of a CBE constituting Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus covers the following 4 subjects.

The Reasoning section includes Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding-Decoding, Analogy, Nonverbal Reasoning. English Language covers Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension. General Awareness assesses current events, history, geography, economics, and scientific research relevant to India and neighboring nations, essential for SSC MTS exam readiness.
