Let the string makes an angle θ with the positive vertical axis, then tension is given as
\(T = -\;mg\cos θ + \frac{{m{v^2}}}{r}\)
At bottom of the circle, string makes an angle 180° with a positive vertical axis,
⇒ θ = 180° ⇒ cos θ = -1
⇒ \(T = mg + \frac{{m{v^2}}}{r}\)
Therefore, at the bottom of the circle, centrifugal force and the weight are added.
