CAPF AC Selection Process 2025 - Stages

CAPF AC Written Exam 2025

The written exam will be the first stage of the UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2025. Applicants should get the qualifying marks in this stage to get selected for the next round of the CAPF AC Selection Process. The UPSC CAPF AC Written exam 2025 will consist of two papers namely Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is based on General Ability and Intelligence and Paper-II is based on the subject of General Studies, Essay and Comprehension

• The UPSC CAPF AC Paper-I will consist of objective-type questions and UPSC CAPF Paper-II will have questions of descriptive nature.
• The UPSC CAPF AC written exam 2025 will be conducted for a total of 450 marks.
• For the UPSC CAPF AC Paper I will have questions in English and Hindi.
• And the CAPF AC Paper II will include questions in English only. 
•  Minimum qualifying marks shall be set independently for each Paper by the Commission at its discretion. Paper-I will be reviewed first, and only those applicants who receive the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I will be considered for Paper-II.

CAPF AC Physical Standard Test (PST) 2025

The candidates who will apply for the UPSC CAPF AC recruitment 2025 need to meet certain physical standards as specified in the official notification. The candidates failing to meet the prescribed UPSC CAPF AC physical standards 2025 will be disqualified from the recruitment process.

• Stages two of UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process 2025 will consist of Physical Standard Test (PST), /Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

CAPF AC Medical Exam 2025

Applicants have to be physically and mentally fit to be eligible for the UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment Process 2025. All the body parts of the candidate should be physically fit. 

If an applicant has had LASIK surgery, he or she must meet the following criteria:

• Age: 18-35 years
• Pre LASIK error: 6 D
• Axial length: 21-26 mm.
• Corneal thickness: 425 microns
• Post-operative: stable period refractive flap
• Interval - 6 months (post-operative period)

Note: 

• The Ministry of Home Affairs will select a Nodal Authority to oversee the Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests. These exams will be held at various locations that will be announced following the CAPF AC written examination 2025 results.
• The candidates should note that a woman candidate, who as a result of a test is found to be pregnant of 12 weeks standing or over, shall be declared temporarily unfit and her appointment held in abeyance until the confinement is over.

CAPF AC Personality Test 2025

Applicants who will qualify for the UPSC CAPF AC Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test will be called for this round. The UPSC CAPF AC Personality Test would have a total of 150 marks. Before taking the Personality Test, eligible applicants must get the e-admit card from the official website. 

• The UPSC CAPF AC Interview Round 2025 will be conducted by a panel of four including the chairperson and other members with high experience. 
• In the CAPF AC interview round 2025, questions will be asked based on the information provided in the Detailed Application Form (which is to be filled out by the candidate).
• At the time of the interview or within the last day of the interview, candidates would be expected to present original certificates as well as self-attested copies. 
• Candidacy will be cancelled if these documents are not submitted according to the specified criteria.
