Phase II is a stenography or typing test which tests the knowledge of candidates in computers as well. Hence the syllabus is given below:
Computer Knowledge: Computer Software and Hardware, Database Management System, Basics of MS Office, MS PowerPoint, About the Internet, Emerging Technologies & Web Publishing, Boolean Algebra, Basics of MS Word, Internet Usage Topic, Basics of MS Excel, Windows, PC Software & Office Automation, Workplace Productivity Tools, Computer Networks, Introduction to Computer Science as well as Data Structures.

RSMSSB Stenographer Examination Phase I
The expected RSMSSB Stenographer exam pattern helps candidates check the marks allotment in case of the subjects in the respective phases. There are two phases in the RSMSSB Stenographer Examination. The first phase is a written test with objective questions. There are two papers in Phase I where the candidates are tested on their General Knowledge & everyday science knowledge. The paper is of 100 marks with 150 questions. The time duration of the paper is 3 hours.

RSMSSB Stenographer Examination Phase II
Phase II of the RSMSSB Stenographer 2024 Examination comprises a stenography or typing test. It tests the typing capacity of the candidates with maximum speed. Part 1 of the examination is for evaluating your shorthand typing & computer typing skills in English.
Part 2 of the RSMSSB Stenographer exam tests the same in Hindi. The paper is of 100 marks. The time duration of the paper is 3 hours.
