JTET Exam Pattern 2022

Candidates who wish to appear and pass the exam should familiarise themselves with the JTET Exam Pattern well in advance. Knowing the Exam Pattern gives candidates an idea of how the paper will be structured. Examine the detailed exam pattern and marking scheme for both papers before preparing for the exam:

Paper I: Primary Stage

• The first JTET paper, Paper-I, is given to candidates who want to be teachers in grades I through V.
• Jharkhand's Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted offline. Candidates must fill out the OMR Sheet with their answers.
• The exam will be administered in English and Hindi (Except other language papers).
• The Primary JTET paper will be divided into five sections, with a total of 200 questions for 200 marks.
• Candidates will receive one point for each correct response, and there will be no negative marking in the JTET.

Paper II: Elementary Stage

• The second JTET paper, Paper-II, is given to candidates who want to be teachers in classes VI to VIII.
• The exam will be administered in English and Hindi (Except other language papers).
• Candidates will receive one point for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking.

Note: There shall be 4 and 7 sections for science subjects and social studies subjects respectively, in which it will be mandatory to answer two or three sections.
