The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducted the Presidency University Bachelor's Degree Entrance Test (PUBDET) in the past. The Presidency University, Kolkata will release the PUBDET Admit Card for the candidates to download. This exam is conducted in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BA and BSc (honours) programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. PUBDET comprises separate entrance exams that are conducted to offer admission to aspirants in different science and humanities programmes offered at Presidency University at the undergraduate level. While appearing for the PUBDET exam, candidates can apply for a maximum of any two subjects. From 2021 and onwards, the WBJEEB will restrict its activity in conducting Common Entrance Examinations, competitive ranking, single-window counselling and allotment of seats based on candidates' choices among various Institutions of the State and/or in multiple courses/branches offered by those Institutions. Considering the above, from 2021 and onwards WBJEEB will not conduct Institution specific entrance examination and counselling. Hence, the PUBDET examination for admission into various UG courses in only Presidency University will not be conducted by the Board until there is any revised decision by the Competent Authority in this regard.

How to Download the PUBDET 2025 Admit Card?

The candidates must download the admit card for PUBDET that is released by the exam conducting body on the official website. The candidate must download the admit card to attend the exam. Otherwise the candidate will not be permitted to attend the exam. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the admit card for PUBDET:

Step 1: The candidate will have to visit the exam website to avail of the admit card.

• Manage your time properly. You will have 1.5 hours to solve 100 questions, so don’t take more than 1 minute to solve each question.

What are the instructions printed on the Admit Card for PUBDET 2025?

The PUBDET Admit Card has instructions that are needed to be followed by the candidate when attending the exam. The instructions that are on the PUBDET Admit Card are as follows:

• The exam center details and the reporting time of the candidate to the exam center.
• The documents required to be accompanied by admit card for identification purposes ( refer to the what to carry section for detailed information)
• The conditions and constraints followed by the candidate inside of the exam hall.
• Candidates should keep with them (i) Admit Card and (ii) Student Identity Card/Photo Identity Card issued by Govt. Departments on the day of Examination for verification by the Remote Proctors. 
• No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
• Covid-19-related rules and regulations are also given on the admit card.
• Every candidate is compulsorily required to appear in all the subjects/ papers for which he/she had enrolled. In case, any candidate remains absent in any subject/paper due to any reason, whatsoever, he/she shall be summarily declared a failure. 
• No Candidate shall carry/keep with him/her mobile phone, I-pad, palmtop, pager, books, study material, printed or handwritten material, pieces of paper, digital diary, watch alarms, Bluetooth, health band, smartwatch, scientific and programmable calculators, listening devices and recording or photographic devices or any kind of communication device/gadget, or any other reference material, etc. during the Examination.

PUBDET 2025 Admit Card: How to Retrieve a Forgotten Registration Number?

Candidates often forget their login information, which is required to download their PUBDET Admit Card 2025. If the candidate did forget the login information, the candidate just needs to enter their registered email id to generate a new password. The candidates need not worry as they can recover their login information by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: On the log-in page of the PUBDET Admit Card, click on the "forgot password" link.

Step 2: Enter the asked credentials like the registered mobile number and email address. 

Step 3: You will receive the login details on your registered mobile number or email address.

Step 4: Follow the instructions sent to you in your email to recover your lost/forgotten credentials. 

PUBDET 2025 Admit Card: How to Download if You Do Not Have Access to the Internet?

A candidate must need internet access to download the PUBDET Admit Card 2025. If the candidate doesn’t have the admit card, he/she will not be allowed to attend the exam. The candidate can download the admit card in any browsing center available to them if they don't have internet access. 

What if Candidates Misplace their PUBDET Admit Card?

If a candidate forgets where he/she has kept the PUBDET Admit Card before the exam, it will be troublesome. This is the reason the candidates must take at least 2-3 printouts of the admit card. Candidates who do not have a hard copy of the PUBDET admit card will not be permitted to attempt the exam.

If the candidate does not have the hard copy but has the downloaded soft copy, they can take the printout of the soft copy. Candidates who have misplaced their admit card can download the PUBDET admit card from the institute's official website and take a printout of it. Only candidates who can provide their admit cards at the exam center will be permitted to attempt the exam.

Hence, candidates are advised to retain their admit cards carefully in secured places in undamaged condition for all future purpose”.
