Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFFormula used:
The volume of the cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height
Calculation:
Let l, b & h be the length, breadth & height of the cuboid.
Volume of cuboid
l × b × h = 3600 -----(1)
Let, Area of two adjacent faces are l × h & b × h
According to the question
l × h = 225
From equation (1)
b × 225 = 3600
⇒ b = 16
Again,
b × h = 144
From equation (1)
l × 144 = 3600
⇒ l = 25
Area of another adjacent face
l × b = 25 × 16 = 400
∴ The area of the other adjacent face is 400 cm2.
