MPSC Clerk Typist Exam Pattern and Selection Process 2024
Candidates must know the MPSC Clerk Typist exam pattern and selection process beforehand. The selection will be done through a Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, Typing Test, and Interview. The candidates can refer to the detailed MPSC Clerk Typist exam pattern for both the stages mentioned below:
Preliminary Exam
- The exam will be of objective type.
- The paper will be held in two languages i.e. English and Marathi.
- 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and the total marks of the exam is 100.
- A negative marking of 1/4th marks is applicable for every wrong answer.
- The duration of the MPSC Clerk Typist exam will be 1 hour.

- The exam will be of objective type questions.
- Paper 1 will be language-based consisting of 100 questions in Marathi and 100 in the English language and Paper 2 will be General Knowledge consisting of 200 questions.

Typing Test
The candidate who passes the Mains Examination will be called for the Typing Test. This test evaluates the candidate typing speed in Marathi and English Language.
- Marathi Language Typing Test- Candidates will pass this test only if they type equal to or more than 30 words per minute.
- English Language Typing Test- The candidate will have to type at least 40 words per minute to pass this typing test.
