எனது தற்போதைய வயதில் ஐந்தில் மூன்று பங்கு என்பது எனது உறவினர் ஒருவரின் வயதில் ஆறில் ஐந்து பங்காகும்.
⇒ 3x/5 = 5y/6
⇒ 18x = 25y
பத்து வருடங்களுக்கு முன் என் வயது நான்கு வருடங்களுக்கு பின் இருக்கும் அவரின் வயதுக்கு சமமாக இருக்கும்.
⇒ x – 10 = y + 4
⇒ y = x – 14,
⇒ 18x = 25(x – 14)
⇒ 18x = 25x – 350
