GPSC DYSO Selection Process 2025- Prelims& Mains!
The notification for the GPSC DYSO Recruitment Selection process by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) is announced. The GPSC DYSO selection process will be carried out in two stages. These 2 stages included the preliminary exam, & the mains written exam. The candidates who will be selected from the preliminary exam will be then called for the main exam. The final selection will be made only on the performance of the candidate in the main exam.

Stages of GPSC DYSO Selection Process 2025
The GPSC DYSO exam consisted of two stages as mentioned above. Each stage had a specific syllabus and exam pattern. The details are given below as per last recruitment.
- Preliminary Exam: It is the screening test. The exam will conducted in an offline or online format. All the questions of the preliminary exam will be objective type. The preliminary exam will consist of a single paper of General Studies, which is further divided into 8 subtopics. The total of the exam is 200 marks.
- Main Exam: The candidates who cleared the preliminary exam will be selected for the main exam. The main exam is divided into 4 papers. All the questions in the main exam will be of descriptive type. The first two papers are the language papers: English and Gujarati. The other two papers are General Studies 1 & 2. All the papers are 100 marks each, totaling 400 marks. Each paper is of 3 hours duration and is compulsory.
GPSC DYSO Selection Process for Prelims Exam 2025
The first stage of the GPSC DYSO selection process is the Prelims exam, which is an objective type exam. It consists of a single paper: General Studies, which is further divided into 8 subtopics. The exam pattern followed in the Preliminary Exam is given in the table below. There is a criterion of negative marking in the preliminary exam. For every wrong answer, one-third marks will be deducted. Here is the selection process for Preliminary Exam 2025:

GPSC DYSO Selection Process for Mains Exam 2025
The second stage is the Mains exam, which is subjective in nature. The exam consists of 4 papers, each of 100 marks. There are two language exams: English and Gujarati. The other two papers are General Studies 1 & 2. The candidates can go through the given exam pattern to understand the marking criteria.
