AP POLYCET 2025 Result became available on May 14, 2025.The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) is an undergraduate-level exam conducted every year by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh. In this exam, every candidate appearing for the AP POLYCET exam shall be provided with a specially designed Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheet (Answer Sheet), on which the test taker shall have to mark his or her answers and other relevant data.

What is AP POLYCET?

The AP POLYCET is a Polytechnic common entrance test conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training for admission into Diploma level programs conducted in Government, Aided, Private, Un-aided Polytechnics and Second Shift polytechnics run in existing Private unaided Engineering Colleges.

AP POLYCET Application Process 2025

The application process for the AP POLYCET exam started on 12th March 2025 and the last date to submit the application form is 30th April 2025. The candidates can follow the following instructions to complete the application free: 

Step 1: Open the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx.

Step 2: Register for the AP POLYCET exam 

Step 3: Fill all your information asked in the application form 

Step 4: Upload Photo and Signature 

Step 5: Pay the application fee using Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card 

Step 6: Press the Submit button to confirm the application form.

AP POLYCET Application Fee

The application fee is INR 400 for OBC/BC and INR 100 for SC/ST applicants. The payment of the application fee can be made by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking at the time of filling out the AP POLYCET application Form.

AP POLYCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can refer to the details below to understand the eligibility criteria for AP POLYCET 2025.

• The applying candidate shall be an Indian National
• The applicant should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh.
• To be eligible for the AP POLYCET, the candidate should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P / TS, such as:
  • Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), 
  • Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), 
  • National Institute of Open School (NIOS), 
  • A.P. Open School Society (APOSS),
  •  X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India.
• The candidate must have passed Class 10 with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination
• Candidates belonging to NIOS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
• There is no age restriction for appearing for the AP POLYCET 2025. However, for the maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed by the exam conducting body which will be applicable when necessary.

AP POLYCET Syllabus 2025

The AP POLYCET syllabus includes three subjects viz. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The level of questions will be of X Class (S.S.C.) AP POLYCET Hall Ticket 2025

The AP POLYCET 2025 hall ticket was made available for download on 23rd April. Registered candidates can download it from the official website by following the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx.

Step 2: Select the 'Print Hall Ticket' tab on the homepage.

Step 3: Select your qualifying exam and enter Class 10th hall ticket number or mobile number, along with the year of passing/appearing.

Step 4: Click on the 'View and Print Hall Ticket' button to download the hall ticket.

Step 5: Your AP POLYCET hall ticket 2025 will appear on the screen. Download and take printouts for future reference. 

AP POLYCET Exam Centers

The AP POLYCET exam center will be mentioned on the candidates hall ticket. Candidates can select their preferred exam center from the list of available locations at the time of registration. 

Documents Required At The AP POLYCET Exam Day

The verification of documents at the exam center will be conducted by the exam officers. Candidates must carry the following documents on the day of AP POLYCET exam.

• Admit card 
• Valid ID(Aadhar card, PAN Card, Voter I-Card, Passport) 
• Passport size photograph

AP POLYCET Answer Key

The AP POLYCET answer/response key was published on 8th May 2025 at the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx. The candidates can download the AP POLYCET answer key entering their User ID, password and center code. Challenging the answer key is as simple as writing an email to the exam conducting authority stating the objection and the proof. The process to download the answer key is listed below: 

Step 1: Click on the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 3: Enter your User ID, password and center code and Click on ‘Sign In’ button.

Step 4: The answer key will pop up on the screen. The candidates can now save the answer key and check their answers. 

AP POLYCET Result 2025

The AP POLYCET rank card was uploaded on the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/. The candidates can check their AP POLYCET result online and download their rank card. AP POLYCET rank card/result must be kept safe till the admission process is completed. The steps to download the rank card are demonstrated below: 

Step 1: Open the official website at https://polycetap.nic.in/Default.aspx.

Step 2: Click on the AP POLYCET result option displayed on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your AP POLYCET 2025 hall ticket No in the given box.

Step 4: Click on the View result button next to the box.

Step 5: The AP POLYCET result will be displayed on the screen. Save the results for future use. 

AP POLYCET Cut Off Marks

Candidates belonging to the open category are required to score a minimum of 30 percent or 36 out of 120 in order to pass the AP POLYCET exam. SC and ST applicants will be included in the merit list regardless of their results because no minimum qualifying marks have been specified for the category. AP POLYCET Counseling Session 2025

The AP POLYCET counseling will be conducted online. The steps involved in the counseling process are as follows: 

Step 1: Online payment of processing fee: In this step, the candidates have to visit the official website of AP POLYCET and click on the Pay fee online button and Enter POLYCET-2025 Hall Ticket number, Rank and Captcha. After successful payment, a recipient will be sent to the candidate. 

Step 2: Certificate verification at Helpline centers(HLCs): The candidates have to visit the nearest HelpLine Center (HLC) with all ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES and 2 sets of Xerox copies for certificate verification after payment of processing fee online. The verification of all the original certificates like Rank Card, Hall ticket, Marks memo, Study certificate, income certificate etc given by the candidate will be done by the officers present at the helpline center.

Step 3: Preparatory work to be made at home for exercising options

Step 4: Procedure to be followed for exercising options on web/internet: Exercising options means candidates have to select polytechnics and courses candidate wishes to join and arrange them in the order of priority. The list of available course options is listed on the official website of AP POLYCET. 

Step 5: Procedure To Be Followed For Exercising Options On Web/Internet: This stage involves Entering the URL through the internet, Generation of passwordOption entry, Log out.

Step 6: Final allotment of seats: The allotments will be processed on the date mentioned in the notification based on merit, category, sex, Local area, special reservation category etc and will be placed in the web. Allotment letter can be downloaded from the official website. 

Step 7: Reporting at college and participating in subsequent phase(s) of counseling (if any)

AP POLYCET Important Points 2025 

• Candidates opting for Urdu medium will be allotted a separate center in each region where assistance will be provided for translation at the time of Examination. 
• The application forms of the candidates are incomplete, including the signature of candidate and parent / guardian and photograph of the candidate.
• In case the application form is rejected, neither correspondence will be entertained with the candidate nor the fee paid refunded.
